Q) Does Open Doorways accept Insurance?
A) Open Doorways does not process insurance claims. Most insurance companies do not provide benefits for hypnosis.
Q) What is the cost of hypnosis sessions?
A) Open Doorways is accepting new clients. Each session is $125.00 and is to be paid in full at the time of your visit. Cash, Check, Credit and Debit card payments are accepted. Online payments through Paypal are also accepted.
Q) Does hypnosis come with a guarantee?
A) Although, no one can guarantee human behavior, Open Doorways works in tandem with clients and their physician or therapist to effectively reach the client's goals. Hypnosis is rarely a one-session cure all. Clients are urged to return for maintenance visits upon completion of programs.
Q) Can I receive a free consultation?
A) Yes, phone consultations are free to analyze client's issues, answer questions and provide information.
Q) What qualifications does a hypnotist have to help a client?
A) Open Doorways Hypnosis owner, Lori Senuta is a Certified Consulting Hypnotist through the National Guild of Hypnotists. Per the NGH Code of Ethics, a Consulting Hypnotist helps everyday people with everyday problems using hypnotic techniques. We do not diagnose, treat or prescribe for clients regarding issues related to medical or mental health conditions. A hypnotist works with clients only with the intent to enhance the client's own natural restorative and coping abilities and makes no therapeutic claims. Lori has additionally earned certifications in Hypnotic Regression, Advanced Regression, Pain Management and 5-Phase Advanced Transformational Hypnosis.
Q) Do I need a referral from my doctor or therapist to work with a hypnotist?
A) For certain issues, a referral is necessary to attend sessions at Open Doorways, but most of the time a referral is not necessary. This is discussed during your initial phone consultation.
Q) Are there any conditions that Open Doorways Hypnosis does not work with?
A) Currently, Open Doorways Hypnosis does not see clients with a diagnosed psychological disorder, drug or alcohol addictions or sexual disorders.
